The Aztec's made human sacrifices. They had a leader called Montezuma. Unfortunately they were invaded by the Spanish,lead by Spanish ruler, Hernando Cortes who had brought over fatal diseases. Montezuma didn't realise what they were here for. So he took him hostage. Then both tribe and country fought against each other. After a while the Spanish finally won and Montezuma was dead Cortes decided to take over this land and call it New Spain.
